Description

The Left Hand is a modern classic created in 2006 by Sam Ross at the legendary New York bar "Milk & Honey." It is essentially a Boulevardier (a Negroni with whiskey) that is given a crucial dark and luxurious note by the addition of chocolate bitters. The chocolate harmonizes wonderfully with the bitterness of the Campari and the sweet notes of bourbon and vermouth. An incredibly rich and complex drink to be savored slowly.

Preparation

  1. Pre-chill a coupe glass with ice.
  2. Add all ingredients to a mixing glass filled with ice cubes.
  3. Stir for about 30 seconds until well-chilled.
  4. Strain the contents into the chilled glass.
  5. Garnish with a high-quality cocktail cherry.
