Description
The Wild Times is a modern and very popular spritz variation that is perfect for the summer. It combines the tart bitterness of Aperol with the freshness of a dry white wine. The drink is topped not with Prosecco, but with fruity wild berry tonic, which gives it an intense berry note and a pleasant sweetness. The result is an incredibly quaffable and balanced aperitif that is a bit more complex than a classic Aperol Spritz.
Preparation
- Fill a large wine glass with plenty of ice cubes.
- Pour the white wine and Aperol into the glass.
- Slowly top up with the chilled wild berry tonic.
- Stir gently once.
- Garnish with a fresh raspberry and a blackberry.
