Description
The Vermouth Cassis is an extremely simple and classic French aperitif. It is closely related to the famous "Kir," where white wine is mixed with crème de cassis (blackcurrant liqueur). Here, dry vermouth takes the place of the wine, giving the drink a more complex, herbal, and less acidic note. The result is a light, refreshing, and slightly sweet drink, perfect for stimulating the appetite.
Preparation
- Fill a tumbler glass with ice cubes.
- Pour the dry vermouth and crème de cassis directly into the glass.
- Stir gently to combine and chill the ingredients.
- Garnish with a lemon peel.
