Description
The Vanity is a visually stunning cocktail that impresses with its color gradient from red to violet and blue. It is a fruity and very quaffable drink that combines the botanical notes of gin with the sweetness of Blue Curaçao and grenadine, as well as the tropical freshness of pineapple and lemon juice. The alcohol taste is almost completely masked, making it an approachable and popular party drink.
Preparation
- Pour the grenadine into a highball glass filled with ice.
- Shake the remaining ingredients (gin, Blue Curaçao, lemon and pineapple juice) vigorously in a shaker filled with ice.
- Carefully strain the contents of the shaker over the back of a spoon onto the grenadine layer in the glass to create the gradient effect.
- Garnish with a pineapple slice.
