Description
The Tropicana is a colorful and exotic cocktail that conveys pure holiday vibes. It is based on Brazilian cachaça and combines a wealth of tropical flavors: banana, coconut, orange, and passion fruit. The special feature is the "float" of Blue Curaçao, which is added at the end and creates a beautiful color gradient from yellow to green. It is a sweet, fruity, and very quaffable drink, reminiscent of a day at the beach.
Preparation
- Add all ingredients except the Blue Curaçao to a shaker filled with ice.
- Shake vigorously.
- Strain into a fancy glass or Hurricane glass filled with fresh ice.
- Carefully drizzle the Blue Curaçao over the back of a spoon onto the surface of the drink to create a color gradient.
- Garnish with an orange slice.
