Description
The Stinger is a classic two-ingredient cocktail that likely originated in the United States in the late 19th century. For a long time, it was a popular drink in high society and is considered an excellent digestif. Preparation
- Fill a wine glass with ice to pre-chill it.
- Add Cognac and crème de menthe to a mixing glass filled with ice and stir until chilled.
- Discard the ice from the wine glass.
- Strain the contents of the mixing glass into the chilled glass.
- Garnish with a fresh mint sprig.
