Description
The Planter's Punch is one of the oldest and most famous rum punches, with origins dating back to 19th-century Jamaica. There are countless variations, but the classic formula often follows the old Caribbean rhyme: "One of Sour, Two of Sweet, Three of Strong, Four of Weak." A true Planter's Punch is not overly sweet but a robust, rum-forward cocktail where the spice of the rum is balanced by fresh citrus acidity, a subtle sweetness, and the complexity of Angostura bitters.
