Description
The Paradise is a classic cocktail immortalized in Harry Craddock's 1930 "Savoy Cocktail Book" and is one of the official IBA cocktails. It is a simple yet elegant drink that captures the flavors of summer. The combination of the botanical spice of gin, the intense fruit sweetness of apricot brandy, and the freshness of orange juice results in a smooth, fruity, and very approachable cocktail that lives up to its name.
Preparation
- Pre-chill a coupe glass with ice.
- Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
- Shake vigorously until the shaker is ice-cold.
- Strain the contents through a fine sieve into the chilled glass.
- Garnish with an orange peel.
