Description

The Gin Buck is a classic highball and part of the "Buck" family of cocktails, which traditionally consist of a spirit, citrus juice, and ginger ale. It is essentially a Tom Collins where the soda water is replaced by the sweeter and spicier ginger ale. This simple modification gives the drink a gentle ginger note and a pleasant sweetness that harmonizes wonderfully with the gin and lemon. An uncomplicated and very quaffable classic.

Preparation

  1. Fill a highball glass with ice cubes.
  2. Pour the gin and fresh lemon juice directly into the glass.
  3. Slowly top up with well-chilled ginger ale.
  4. Stir gently.
