Description

The Gentle Bull is a surprisingly smooth and creamy way to enjoy tequila. In this variation, reminiscent of a White Russian, the earthy agave notes of tequila meet the rich sweetness of coffee liqueur. Fresh cream gives the drink a luxurious, velvety texture, making it a perfect after-dinner drink or a liquid dessert. The name "Gentle Bull" humorously plays on the often perceived "wild" nature of tequila, which is presented here in a tamed and elegant form.

Preparation

  1. Fill a coupe glass with ice to pre-chill it.
  2. Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker filled with ice cubes.
  3. Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until the shaker is ice-cold on the outside.
  4. Discard the ice from the glass.
  5. Strain the contents of the shaker through a fine sieve into the chilled glass.
  6. Optionally, garnish with three coffee beans or some chocolate shavings.
