Description
The Fancy Nancy is a modern, fruity cocktail similar to the Cosmopolitan, but with the addition of pineapple juice for a more tropical and sweeter note. The combination of the clean base of vodka, the orange notes of triple sec, and the mix of tart cranberry and sweet pineapple juice results in a very approachable and quaffable drink. With its appealing pink color, it is a perfect cocktail for parties and social gatherings.
Preparation
- Fill a martini glass or a coupe with ice to pre-chill it.
- Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker filled with ice cubes.
- Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until the shaker is ice-cold on the outside.
- Discard the ice from the glass.
- Strain the contents of the shaker through a fine sieve into the chilled glass.
- Garnish with a thin orange slice.
