Description
The Elderflower Sparkle is a light, floral, and incredibly refreshing cocktail. It highlights the delicate flavor of elderflower liqueur, which is perfectly complemented by the zesty acidity of fresh lemon juice. Topped up with soda water, it creates an elegant and not-too-sweet drink that is excellent as an aperitif or a light companion on a warm afternoon. For a more festive version, the soda water can be replaced with Prosecco or Champagne.
Preparation
- Fill a champagne flute or a small wine glass with ice to chill it.
- Add elderflower liqueur and lemon juice to a shaker filled with ice and shake briefly.
- Strain the contents into the chilled glass (without the ice from the shaker).
- Gently top up with well-chilled soda water.
- Garnish with a long lemon spiral.
