Daiquiri
Mix the perfect Daiquiri with white rum, lime juice, and simple syrup. A timeless, fresh, and balanced cocktail.

Description
The Daiquiri is the epitome of a simple yet elegant cocktail and represents the essence of bartending. It was invented at the end of the 19th century in the city of Daiquirí in Cuba. At the time, American engineer Jennings Cox, who worked there, had only a few ingredients available: rum, limes, and sugar. He mixed these three components to create a refreshing drink for his guests. Cox originally intended to serve a "Rum Sour," as he was using the ingredients of a Whiskey Sour, but since no whiskey was available, rum was used as the base instead. The Daiquiri quickly became popular and gained worldwide fame through celebrities like Ernest Hemingway, who was a regular at the famous "El Floridita" in Havana.
