Description
The Blue Hawaii is one of the most iconic tropical cocktails, famous for its vibrant blue color that evokes the lagoons of Hawaii. It was created in 1957 by the legendary bartender Harry Yee in Honolulu. The drink is a delicious blend of rum, the sweetness and color of Blue Curaçao, the fruity acidity of pineapple juice, and the creamy texture of cream of coconut. It is the perfect cocktail to transport yourself to a tropical vacation mood.
Preparation
- Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
- Shake vigorously until the shaker is well-chilled on the outside.
